Helicopter Refuelling Training – Training Course ONLINE

Purpose

Helicopter refuelling is a safety-critical operation that requires careful planning, strict adherence to procedures, and attention to detail to prevent accidents and ensure fuel quality. Particular emphasis is placed on checking helicopter fuel for potential contamination, including water and particulate matter, and ensuring that all refuelling equipment is properly bonded to prevent the accumulation of static electricity, which could generate sparks and create a fire hazard. This is an independent training designed to follow OPITO framework (not OPITO approved).

Objectives

Participants will gain the knowledge and practical skills required to carry out helicopter refuelling operations safely and effectively while maintaining appropriate quality control standards. The course covers procedures for detecting and testing fuel contamination, correct bonding practices, the steps involved in starting, monitoring, and stopping refuelling operations, applicable regulations and safety requirements, and accurate documentation and record keeping.

Evaluation

All participants have to complete a questionnaire in order to obtain the certificate.

Certification – Diploma

All persons who successfully complete the course based on the performance standards will receive certificate with validity of two years in line with Offshore International Industries guidelines. This Training follows international standards of quality and meets the ISO 9001-2015 requirements.
