Purpose
All confined spaces can be a very dangerous places to work (due to possibly posing risks) and with lack of knowledge and safety awareness on related hazards, human life can be compromised and even lost. This course will take you through safety procedures on confined spaces prior entry to stay safe at all times. This training course is designed to be only in line with OPITO.

- Confined space definition
- Safety at work
- Hazards related to entry inside confined space
- Required equipment and PPE for confined space
- Atmosphere check
- Pre-entry checklist & procedures
- Emergency safety procedures
Objectives
Participants will learn necessary steps and precautions to be aware of associated hazards prior any confined space entry. What are the main safety procedures, pre-entry checklists to be completed with all required PPE and equipment. How to do atmosphere check which needs to be done for safe entry. How to handle an emergency situation if occurs.

Evaluation
All participants have to complete a questionnaire in order to obtain the certificate.
Certification - Diploma
All persons who successfully complete the course based on the performance standards will receive certificate with three years validity in line with Offshore International Industries guidelines. This Training follows international standards of quality and meets the ISO 9001-2015 requirements.
