Confined Space Rescue (CSR) – Training Course ONLINE

Registration

Purpose

This course is targeted for all personnel who form a part of rescue team or are involved in rescue operation on board / or ashore. Proper techniques and procedures for rescue operations will be shown and how to execute all in a safe manner without endangering any lives of the rescue team. This training course is designed to be only in line with OPITO.

Content

The course will cover the following topics:
Confined space defined
Preparation for rescue
Required PPE and rescue equipment
Fall protective equipment
Safe entry and exit of confined spaces
Associated confined space risks
Recovery of casualties from confined spaces
First aid emergency action plan
Defibrillation - AED usage

Objectives

Participants in this course will learn how to systematically proceed with a rescue of casualty in a safe and timely manner. How to properly use equipment and required PPE for rescue operation, what are associated hazards inside confined spaces and applying all safety rules.

Evaluation

All participants have to complete a questionnaire in order to obtain the certificate.

Certification - Diploma

All persons who successfully complete the course based on the performance standards will receive certificate with three years validity in line with Offshore International Industries guidelines. This Training follows international standards of quality and meets the ISO 9001-2015 requirements.
