Purpose

Electrical hazards combined with inadequate worker's awareness is a posing problem for various electrical jobs, some ground rules and best safety practices should be always applied to reduce the risk to a minimum. Never take electricity lightly as it may take your life or endanger others.

Grounding, ground faults and short circuits
Fuses and circuit breakers
Personal protective equipment (PPE)
Working equipment
Motor protection

Safety at work
Best practices

Objectives

Participant will obtain valuable knowledge and awareness how to safely execute job related with electricity. Know what are associated risks with electricity and how to mitigate hazards to a bare minimum by applying safety rules and steps with proper personal protective equipment (PPE).
