Purpose

Any emergency health situation which requires first aid needs proper and timely execution to be effective and successfully. This course provides fundaments on first aid techniques and life saving tips for all type of workers, onboard and onshore crew (don't let to be unprepared for emergency situation - you could save someone's life).

• Respiratory Emergencies
• Cardiac and Stroke First Response
• Wounds, Bleeding, Burns, Scalds
• Spinal Injuries
• Altered Levels of Consciousness
• Musculoskeletal Injuries
• Burns, Chemicals, Electric Shock

Objectives

Participants will acquire skill and knowledge to provide quick essential first aid response to a casualty until medical team arrives. They will also know how to adequately act in different first aid scenarios such as: Wounds, Bleeding, Burns, Spinal Injuries, Respiratory emergencies, Musculoskeletal injuries etc.

Evaluation

All participants have to complete a questionnaire in order to obtain the certificate.
