ERRV Crew Fast Rescue Craft Boatman – Training Course ONLINE
Purpose
ERRV Crew Fast Rescue Craft Boatman training course is designed and intendent for all crew and personnel who are working or are designated to be as a coxswain deckhand / assistant (boatman) on offshore vessels and installations. In emergency situations such as man overboard (MOB) proper FRC training preparedness is essential for smooth rescue operation. This training course is designed to be only in line with OPITO.

- The course will cover the following topics:
- Duty roles of a boatman
- Communication during emerg. situations
- Launching & recovering of FRC / DC
- FRC / DC types
- FRC / DC equipment
- MOB (man overboard)
- Rescue/search patterns
- First Aid on scene
- Maintaining operational readiness
Objectives
Participants shall acquire necessary knowledge, skill and organizational mind set for swift FRC / DC use and readiness in case of an emergency or any normal operation. Essential communications, search patterns and techniques which needs to be used for man overboard situations, first aid on scene etc. shall be explain in this course.

Evaluation
All participants have to complete a questionnaire in order to obtain the certificate.
Certification – Diploma
All persons who successfully complete the course based on the performance standards will receive certificate which validity will be three years in line with Offshore International Industries guidelines. This Training follows international standards of quality and meets the ISO 9001-2015 requirements.
