ERRV Crew Initial Training Shipboard Operations (ITSO) – Training Course ONLINE

Purpose

Course is designed for initial training and assessment of all prospective ERRV crew members who needs to work in offshore industry with a designated duties on board ERRV vessels. Basic safety and other fundamentals working procedures on board ERRV in emergencies can not be neglected. This training course is designed to be only in line with OPITO.

Content

  • The course will cover the following topics:
  • Duties & roles of crew on FRC / DC
  • Chain of command on ERRV
  • Legal requirements & guidelines
  • Communication procedures
  • Rescue and recovery equipment
  • Donning appropriate PPE
  • Triage of casualties & first aid on scene
  • Launching & recovering of FRC / DC
  • Transfer of casualties within the ERRV
  • MOB (man overboard) situation
  • Preparations for casualty evacuation
  • Pollution & appropriate equipment usage / preparedness

Objectives

The aim and objectives of the Initial Training Shipboard Operations training course are to equip the delegate with the initial knowledge, understanding and skills required to perform the role of ERRV crew for normal and emergency situations.

Evaluation

All participants have to complete a questionnaire in order to obtain the certificate.

Certification – Diploma

All persons who successfully complete the course based on the performance standards will receive certificate which validity will be three years in line with Offshore International Industries guidelines. This Training follows international standards of quality and meets the ISO 9001-2015 requirements.
