You should never underestimate the weather and special attention to it must be given. Bad weather outcomes can be ship wrecking and by crew fatal (know your sea safe routing).

Weather forecast importance
Weather forecast definition & diagnosis
Vessel preparation for extreme weather conditions
Vessel caught in heavy weather situation
Safe routing according weather conditions

Objectives

Participants will acquire essential awareness and needed knowledge to execute in timely manner ship plan routing according given weather forecast. Know how to act and prepare vessel for extreme weather conditions, what to do if caught by heavy weather.
