Purpose

Any enclosed or confined spaces (or any site where is a risk of gas exposure) needs a special attention to safety details due to hazards involved which can endanger human life (can lead to fatal outcome). Equipment such as gas detectors are of utmost importance for alerting and detecting dangerous gases. Some gases are hard to notice and in matter of seconds you could be incapacitated if not prepared properly.

Objectives

This course will provide participants good understating when and how to properly use gas detector prior enclosed / confined space entrance (or any site where is a risk of gas exposure). Know what are the limitations of gas detectors and it's needed maintenance and calibration cycles.
