Helicopter Refuelling Training – Training Course ONLINE

Purpose

Helicopter refuelling is a very delicate operation and many variables must be properly executed to ensure it will be done safely. Special care is given for testing helicopter fuel for any possible contamination (water, dirt etc.) and to properly bond all refuelling equipment (to remove any hazards from electrical charge which can produce spark and cause fire). This training course is designed to be only in line with OPITO.

Helifuel systems
Test and inspection for contamination in fuel
Types of fuel contamination
Detecting equipment for contaminated fuel
Bonding of refuelling equipment
Monitoring & start/stop refuelling system procedures
Refuelling communication & commands
Record keeping
Best practices

Objectives

Participants will acquire knowledge and skill how to safely perform helicopter refuelling operation with quality control. Be able to define and execute procedures for detecting and testing fuel for contamination, proper bonding procedures, refuelling start/monitor/stop steps, relevant regulations and record keeping.

Evaluation

All participants have to complete a questionnaire in order to obtain the certificate.

Certification – Diploma

All persons who successfully complete the course based on the performance standards will receive certificate with validity of two years in line with Offshore International Industries guidelines. This Training follows international standards of quality and meets the ISO 9001-2015 requirements.
