HERTL (Helideck Emergency Response Team Leader) – Training Course ONLINE

Purpose

The target group for Helideck Emergency Response Team Leader Training programme is personnel who are to be appointed to the role of a Helideck Emergency Response Team Leader (HERTL). Understand importance of pre-planning and how to swiftly respond to helideck and helicopter different emergencies with a correct and timely action. This training course is designed to be only in line with OPITO.

  • Types of helideck emergencies on installations
  • Normally Unattended Installation(NUI) emergency response
  • Search and rescue ops
  • Human factor issues
  • Responsibilities and roles
  • Leadership

Objectives

Participants will acquire rules and procedures for main elements of helideck emergency plan and its response. How to execute emergency firefighting situation, identify potential helideck emergencies, define roles and responsibilities, show leadership and proper commands, what are Normally Unattended Installation(NUI) emergencies, search and rescue execution etc.

Evaluation

All participants have to complete a questionnaire and pass series of emergency scenarios in order to obtain the certificate.

Certification – Diploma

All persons who successfully complete the course based on the performance standards will receive certificate with validity of two years in line with Offshore International Industries guidelines. This Training follows international standards of quality and meets the ISO 9001-2015 requirements.
