Objectives
Participants will develop a clear understanding of the ISM Code and its practical application in everyday shipboard operations. The course covers safety management systems, risk assessment and management, the development and implementation of contingency plans, emergency preparedness, internal audits, and inspections. Particular emphasis is placed on understanding individual responsibilities, complying with established procedures, identifying potential hazards, and applying effective safety management practices to support continuous improvement, operational reliability, and safety at sea.
