Its primary purpose is to reduce exposure to hazards and help prevent injuries and harm to personnel. This training course introduces the different types of PPE, their intended applications, and the correct procedures for selecting, inspecting, wearing, and maintaining protective equipment.

Objectives

Participants will learn the importance of selecting appropriate PPE for specific tasks and workplace hazards, as well as how to use it correctly to protect themselves and others. The course also covers the role of risk assessment in determining PPE requirements, recognising equipment limitations, and ensuring compliance with established safety procedures. Particular emphasis is placed on the consequences of improper PPE selection or use, as failure to wear suitable protective equipment can result in serious or fatal injuries.

All participants have to complete a questionnaire in order to obtain the certificate.
