Safe use of portable hand tools and all associated equipment precautions are of high importance to avoid, prevent and mitigate possible injuries to yourself or others around you. In light to do job as fast as possible sometimes basic safety steps for use of equipment can be skipped which can be dangerous (safety comes first).

Objectives

Participants in this course will acquire knowledge on why portable hand and power tools are dangerous, how to apply correct personal protection equipment (PPE) when using tools. To know how to mitigate associated risk and what is required maintenance for the equipment & tools.
