Even if used only for communal services on board it is directly connected to human health and safety. Water is essential for life and as such it should be treated.

Objectives

Participants will learn important and essential procedures on how potable water is produced in maritime industry, how to adequately treat potable water and what are the associated risks with untreated water. Learn what is water turbidity and how it affects potable water safe use.
