Purpose
The International Convention for the Prevention of Pollution from Ships (MARPOL 73/78) is one of the most important international marine environmental conventions. It was developed by the International Maritime Organization (IMO) with an objective to minimize pollution of the oceans and seas, including dumping, oil and air pollution. Ship’s proper handle on Waste Management and Marine Pollution Prevention (MARPOL 73/78) as per strict maritime regulation will be shown in this course.
